Our wonderful co-founder & director Bex accepting joint second place EmpowerWiSM 2024 award at the Autonomy Expo in Paris
We’re delighted to announce that A Fleet For Change came joint second in the global EmpowerWiSM (Empower Women In Shared Mobility) awards.
Despite some incredible competition, with applications from female-led shared transport initiatives worldwide, we made it to the shortlist, then the EmpowerWiSm finale.
A big shout out to our fellow finalists…

That’s not all! The head of EmpowerWiSM reached out to Co-founder & Director Bex Winter, following her impressive application and interview, and has asked her to speak at the Autonomy Mobility World Expo 2024 in Paris!
Alongside three impressive industry experts, Bex will be on today’s panel for a talk on Decarbonizing Transportation: Are we looking at the ecosystem approach? As a company looking to dovetail our services with those around us, collaborate with councils and private companies alike, learn from other DRT projects and ensure we nurture community involvement with our projects, this is a perfect opportunity to share our insights and learn from some powerhouses within the sustainable transport sector.

Some notes on the trip: all travel and hotel expenses were paid by movmi, the shared mobility agency behind the EmpowerWiSM awards. Bex opted for trains from Sheffield to London King’s Cross, then the Eurostar to Paris, to reduce associated carbon emissions.
