SUCCESS! Innovate UK funding

The Team

Today we got the BRILLIANT news that we were successful in our Innovate UK funding application! For an early-stage start-up like ours, an award like this is massive, both for the funding and the recognition.

Innovate UK is the UK’s Innovation Agency, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), which is the national funding agency investing in science and research in the UK. The process is highly detailed and competition is fierce, so it’s a testament to our team and partners that we were awarded the funding.

Innovate UK recognised our innovative plans to help solve a big issue that affects everyone.

The funding is to allow us to carry out extensive research, to inform our pilot project in the spring. The research will include understanding people’s needs and priorities, in-depth testing of the demand-responsive transport system, service delivery planning and the development of additional safety features. For the pilot, we are partnering with FORGE nightclub to provide shared transport to get people home safely. Keep your eyes peeled as we track our progress through the project.
