Campaign for Fair Transport

A recent announcement of the cancellation of the Sheffield Zoom Beyond bus pass for people aged 18-21 in November would coincide with the rise for national transport single bus fares to jump from £2 to £2.50 - forcing the cost for this age group from 80p to £2.50 overnight for a single journey.

Jude at Radio Sheffield

Jude’s raison d’être is accessible transport for all.  He’s been speaking to Look North, Radio Sheffield and University of Sheffield to raise awareness and garner support, following which, South Yorkshire Mayor Oliver Coppard has started a campaign to address this and other transport inequalities across the region.

“Fix our buses so public transport is the efficient, effective public service it used to be.”

Oliver Coppard, Mayoral POA
