Hi! I’m delighted to be coming on board with Fleet. Having met Bex a couple of years ago, I’ve got to know her as a passionate agent for change, challenging perceptions of women in tech and advocating for the community. We’re both outdoor swimmers, who use our chilly water dunking time to escape from the stresses of our daily employment. We’ve nattered about our frustrations with the mainly male-dominated tech industry, the anger we feel towards violence against women and vulnerable people, and the economic disadvantages caused to so many by neglected and failing public transport systems. After many brainstorming sessions and watching Bex crystallise the plans for Fleet even before its inception, I’m excited by the potential of this project to revolutionise public transport and be a true force for change.
